Privacy Policy

1. Overview

RestOps is operated by Eatelligence (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights under the Australian Privacy Principles.

2. What we collect

Account data: your name, email and the business details you enter (e.g. business name, ABN).
Operational data: suppliers, ingredients, prices, orders, receipts and invoices you add to your workspace.
Billing data: handled by Stripe; we store a customer/subscription reference, not card numbers.
Technical data: limited logs and a per-IP signup rate-limit record to protect the Service.

3. How we use it

To provide and operate the Service, send the order/receipt emails you trigger, process payments, secure the platform, and comply with our legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

4. Where your data lives

Your database is hosted with Supabase in the Australian (Sydney) region. Some sub-processors may process limited data outside Australia: Stripe (payments) and Anthropic (invoice parsing, only when you upload an invoice). We take reasonable steps to ensure they protect your information.

5. Email sending

Order and receipt emails are sent using the SMTP credentials you provide, from your own domain. We store those credentials securely and use them only to send messages you initiate.

6. Security

We use row-level security to isolate each business’s data, restrict sensitive tables to server-side access, and keep an audit log of sensitive actions. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

7. Your rights (APPs)

Access & correction: you can view and edit your data in the app.
Export: you can request a machine-readable export of your workspace data.
Deletion: you can request erasure of your workspace and associated logins.
Complaints: contact us first; you may also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

8. Retention

We keep your data while your workspace is active and for a reasonable period afterwards, then delete or de-identify it unless we must retain it by law.
